A condolence reference was held at the Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) on Monday for the late artiste Moin Akhtar. FUUAST Vice-Chancellor of Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser chaired the session. Registrar Prof Dr Qamar ul Haq, Prof Dr Nasir Abbas, Prof Seema Naz Siddiqui, Dr Iftikhar Tahiri, Dr Abdul Malik, Dr Sulaiman Dr Muhammad and Prof Hassan Waqar Gul paid rich tributes to artiste. They recalled the immense contribution of Moin Akhtar in the realms of fine arts. It was pointed out that Akhtar was not only a versatile artiste but also a fine human being and performed a number of welfare activities. University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui and Pro Vice-Chancellors Prof Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi also expressed grief over the demise of Akhtar.
