The workers of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) resorted to indiscriminate aerial fire as they welcomed newly-appointed Federal Law Minister Moula Bakhsh Chandio in Hyderabad, reported a private TV channel on Monday. It was first visit by Chandio to his native city after he was inducted in the federal cabinet to fill the slot vacated by Babar Awan who is representing the government in the presidential reference before the Supreme Court. The TV channel showed the people carrying sophisticated weapons in the presence of police and firing in the air. It looked as if the party activists were competing with each other to demonstrate their firepower, the TV channel said.
