Azeem, 15, a resident of Jandra village in Barki area, was knocked down by a speeding flatbed. The police said that the deceased, who was a 9th grader, was going to school in a flatbed when he fell off the vehicle and was crushed by the rear wheels. Police handed over the body to his family after completing legal formalities.
In another incident, a rashly driven vehicle ran over an unidentified 45-year-old woman in the Hanjarwal police precincts. The deceased was crossing the road near Thokar Niaz Baig Chowk when an unidentified speeding vehicle knocked her from behind. Police has started searching for the relatives of the deceased.
