‘Punjab AG misleading SC at Sharifs’ behest’

The Punjab advocate general is presenting fabricated information to the Supreme Court based on mala fide intent in the BOP case at the behest of his pay masters, the Sharifs. A press release issued by the PML-Q says neither Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi nor any of his family members have ever operated any account or done business with the Bank of Punjab (BoP) and the accusation of siphoning money is part of the Nawaz League’s campaign to malign the reputation of its biggest political opponents.
There is nothing against Elahi in the report containing 5,000 pages report prepared by Punjab Additional IG Police Aftab Sultan. The Punjab advocate general during the BoP loan case hearing in the Supreme Court had not only misconstrued facts but also willfully furnished the bench with figures which were nowhere to be found in the investigation report.
