The Lahore High Court on Monday issued notice to the Punjab Transport secretary on a petition moved by private bus/wagon owners on being denied the use of public bus stands. The petitioners contended that the government had violated laws by denying them the use of bus stand. They said that they allowed every bus owner to use the stand, while now the bus owners were using taxi stands, which was creating problems for everyone concerned. Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed issued notice for the appearance of Punjab Transport secretary on April 27.
