Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the Government has formulated policies to provide all facilities to local as well as foreign investors.
The Prime Minister was talking to Mr. Saleem H. Mandviwala, Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House on Monday.
Due to business friendly policies of the Government, he said a number of investors from China, UAE, USA, EU and South Korea etc. are planning to invest in various fields including the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
The Prime Minister asked the Chairman to focus on public-private partnership for optimal utilization of the potential and experience of the private sector.
Chairman BOI apprised the Prime Minister of his meetings with the Trade Minister of Malaysia, Pakistani expatriates and local business houses during his visit to Malaysia to attend “Malaysia Conference”.
He also discussed the progress on reorganization of the Board of Investment.
