The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) protested for their demands in front of the Punjab Civil Secretariat on Monday. The protesters were holding banners and placards inscribed with their demands. They said that inflation has increased a lot over the years but their salaries have not been raised by the Punjab government.
The protesters demanded that salaries of clerks should also be increased considering the price hike. Various office bearers of the association also addressed the gathering and highlighted their demands. They also chanted slogans against the provincial government for not considering demands of the lower staff of the secretariat.
