Student flees ‘terror-teaching’ seminary

A local court in Hyderabad handed over a nine-year student of a seminary to the police for interrogation and issued directives to seal the seminary in question, reported a private TV channel. According to details, Jummah Khan, father of 9-year-old Zubair Ali Jamali, lodged an appeal with a local court that his son was being trained to be a suicide bomber at a seminary situated in New Saeedabad area of District Matiari. Jummah further said that he picked up his son from a forest where he said the frightened child had taken refuge after escaping from the seminary. The child informed the court that the ‘maulvis’, teachers, had tortured him and pressed him to carry out suicide bombing in Hyderabad. The court, while delivering the child into the custody police, directed the DPO Matiari to conduct a detailed probe into the matter after sealing
the seminary.
