People need to utilise the facility of the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell to have their issues sorted out, Sindh Electric Power Minister Shazia Marri said on Saturday. She was listening to people’s complaints on the phone at the complaint cell. Many people from different parts of Sindh called at complaint cell and informed Marri about their grievances.
The minister directed the authorities concerned to immediately address the complaints The majority of complaints involved various government departments including police, education and health. A woman from Naushero Feroze told Marri that her son Imran Johkio was kidnapped by two policemen a year back and he is still missing.
Marri contacted the Naushero Feroze SP Investigation, who told her that the Hyderabad DIG was investigating the issue and two policemen involved in the case are in jail. Marri told the media that the complaint cell helps common people in resolving their problems.
“Through the cell, the working of bureaucracy and officials of the public service agencies has visibly improved,” she added.
