A woman and two children were injured when personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) allegedly carried out a search operation in New Kahan area in the outskirts of Quetta on Friday.
The paramilitary personnel and plainclothesmen surrounded New Kahan and closed all exit routes before starting a house to house search.
Residents said the security personnel were firing in the air to terrorise the people. A woman and two children were allegedly injured by firing by the FC personnel, who detained 15 people and shifted them to unidentified location, one of the residents said. They said the security personnel removed flags of “Independent Balochistan”, desecrated the graves of Baloch martyrs and looted the belongings of the people.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Baloch National Voice condemned the action and called it part of the excesses of state forces against the Baloch people.
