It is a pity that the tax-payers’ money is being wasted as the performance of the police is very poor. The police actually seem to be ruling the tax-payers rather than serving them.
The reason for this degradation of performance is the continuous nepotism and political interference inside the institution. It is in masses’ own interest as they are paying for the department of police that they should pressurise the public representatives to reform the laws and regulations governing the police, while also curtailing favouritism and political influence which are hampering its performance.
