Promote tourism

Many countries generate income from tourism, especially countries like Austria and Turkey because people generally enjoy travelling, exploring and sightseeing. Pakistan is a country immensely blessed with the wonders of mother nature.
It possesses a variety of creations; from the great Himalayas to the great Thar desert, from Mohin-jo-daro to Khewra and the beautiful Muree Hills. Our cultures and traditions attract many tourists toward Pakistan which can help us generate a handsome revenue if it actually happens but it’s a very disturbing fact that all this beauty is wilting away and is not being used for any tourism purposes.
In fact the sites of our historical heritage such as Makli Graveyard, the Empress Market etc are not being maintained properly, causing their deterioration.
Many hikers, desert hunters, river rafters and archeologists from all over the world wish to visit Pakistan and explore its hidden beauty but cannot do so because of the terrorism threats and violence rampant across the country. The authorities need to provide facilities to the Ministry of Tourism and should start a marketing and advertisement lobby and initiate a campaign to promote our country’s tourism.
The government of Pakistan is spending money on non-productive matters, if they spend it on tourism instead, our country could generate extra revenue.
