KARACHI – The six-day 10th Young Leaders’ Conference (YLC) would start from July 1 as the conference celebrates its “first decade of changing lives for the better”.
The theme for this year is ‘Eman (faith), Ittehad (unity) and Tanzeem (discipline)’. Preparations are at their peak as the big conference is just two months away.
Three hundred and fifty youngsters, aged 18 to 24, from all over the country and other parts of the world will unite to spread the light of change. This year, two champions, Maalik Khashkilly from Khairpur and Bilal Nazar from Nawabshah, are leading the 10th YLC; assisted by passionate young facilitators specifically trained for the mega-event.
The mentors of this team are SoL Director Kamran Rizvi, CEO Shireen Naqvi and COO Saima Khan. “The YLC is the country’s largest youth conference where 350 youth come together, discover their latent potential and opportunities and return to their communities to initiate practical change,” said Maalik Khaskily. Bilal Nazar added, “Our nation’s future looks bright as we see our youth develop into an incredible force of positive change. Every year, the YLC comes with a new blend of learning and hope for youngsters. It was my dream to lead this mega-event and I am living my dream.”
