LAHORE – Civil Servants should perform their duties efficiently and diligently by keeping themselves above from all sorts of fear, influence and favoritism, Punjab Additional Inspector General (IG) Chaudhry Tanveer said on Tuesday. He was chairing a briefing on behalf of Punjab IG Javed Iqbal arranged for 20 probationary officers of the 38th batch of the Civil Services Academy, Lahore at Punjab Police Headquarters, Lahore.
Operations Additional IG Rafique Hassan gave a detailed briefing to the probationer officers regarding the working, organisational structure of various police departments including Investigation, City Traffic Police, Punjab Highway Patrolling, Elite Force, Special Branch, Punjab Constabulary, CTD, Training Directorate Police College and Riverine posts.
The operations additional IG also briefed the probationer officers regarding the overall law and order situation in Punjab. The officers also asked various questions relating to the police departments. Shields were also exchanged between the police head and the Civil Services Academy additional director.
