LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has commended the PT display presented by the children of City School. “The Punjab Games turned out to be a success at Lahore’s Punjab Stadium. There is no doubt that children of the City School, Ravi Campus Junior Section, participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Punjab Games with the CM Shahbaz Sharif being chief guest. The children contributed a lot in the success of show with attractive display during opening ceremony,” said Punjab Games organising secretary Idris Haider Khawaja.
Senior Provincial Minister and organising committee chairman Zulfiqar Khosa, Provincial Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, chief organiser Iftikhar Ali Malik, Punjab Olympics Association president Syed Shahid Ali, and Director General Punjab Sports Fahmida Mushtaq also appreciated the work of students of City School at the magnificent opening ceremony of the 71st edition of the event.
“We will continue promoting sports and I feel delighted to be present on such an event where talented youth are competing for the honours,” the CM said. “It is an honour for our school to perform ceremony in front of CM Punjab, international guests and media and it will remain memorable occasion for the school,” said The City School principal.
