ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch a comprehensive anti-littering campaign from April 29. The decision was taken on Monday at a high-level meeting presided over by CDA Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi who stressed the need to make coordinated efforts to implement municipal laws in an effective manner.
The CDA Chairman said wild shrubs, heaps of construction material, encroachments and water leakage into streets were serious threats to the beauty of the capital city. He nominated the Civic Management director general as coordinator of the anti-littering campaign.
