‘Only Imran can steer country out of crisis’

FAISALABAD – Punjab PTI Secretary General Dr Yasmin Rashid has said only Imran Khan is capable of steering Pakistan out of the current crisis and the only ray of hope to save the country. She was addressing a ceremony in which PML-Q District Information Secretary and Youth Wing Senior Vice-President Rana Javed Ashraf announced to join Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) along with hundreds of workers. She said the rulers had released Raymond Davis, the killer of two Pakistanis, instead of bringing him to justice.
She said drone attacks were being carried out in Pakistani territories daily. “The orders of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry are not being implemented by the federal and provincial governments while the rulers are hankering after bullet-proof vehicles instead of providing justice to the masses. Speaking on this occasion, Rana Javed Ashraf said Pakistan was in dire need of a patriotic politician like Imran Khan to face internal and external challenges. He urged the people to bring PTI to power if they wanted to see the country stable and prosperous as envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal.
“Pakistan cannot be run through traditional politics. We have to bring the leadership capable of steering the country out of crisis. Imran Khan is clear in his thoughts, agenda and direction and a real change will occur under his leadership,” he remarked. He thanked Amin Zaki and Mazhar Sahi for supporting him. Punjab PTI vice-president Amin Zaki, former senator Tariq Chaudhry, district president Sajjad Haider Khan, Rasheed Minhas, Engineer Javed Iqbal, Tariq Majeed, Rana Naeem Khan, Abdul Jabbar, Latif Akbar, Hammad Niazi, Rubina Rasheed and a large number of workers attended the ceremony
