LONDON – West Bromwich manager boss Roy Hodgson has said that Spanish striker Fernando Torres will eventually start scoring goals for Chelsea despite his poor start at the Club. The Spaniard has made a disappointing start to his career at Stamford Bridge and after 11 games he has yet to score a single goal.
Hodgson though is confident the 27-year-old will soon regain his goalscoring touch, although he hopes it does not return this weekend with Chelsea due at the Hawthorns on Saturday. “(His current form) doesn’t surprise me because he didn’t have a good time at Liverpool from the start of the season,” Hodgson said.
“He has moved to Chelsea and everybody was hoping it was going to be night and day in terms of how he performed and it’s not. “Fernando is working hard, like he did for Liverpool, and it’s not working for him.
