KARACHI – All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf called Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagaro on phone from London, urging him to lead the nation and play his active role against the incumbent government.
Sources told Pakistan Today that Musharraf requested Pir Pagara to step forward against the government’s bad governance. If Pagaro would lead the movement, the APML will fully support him, Musharraf said. A day earlier, on Wednesday, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Naib Amir Professor Ghafoor also went to the Kingri House to convince Pagaro to step forward and play a role like he had done in the past.
