KHANEWAL – Two brilliant cricketers from Khanewal were included in the national cricket women’s team of Pakistan for the tour of Sri Lanka. Sana Gulzar and Samaim Adeeb, both from Khanewal, were included in the national women’s cricket team. The national women’s cricket team is touring Sri Lanks in May, 2011.
These players are busy in practice at the camp in the LCCA ground Lahore. All the sports circles of Khanewal have appreciated the players and declared it as an honour for Khanewal city. Khanewal’s Masood Anwar, Rao Shabbir Ahmad and Rao Iftikhar Anjum have played in the national team.
