After Karachi, it is now Lahore where there has been a rising trend of gang war related violence. The recent being when two people were killed in a firing incident between rival gangs in Lahore. It is the duty of the police to curb such incidences and prevent these gangs from taking hold. It is imperative that the police should take immediate and strong measures before Lahore is also associated alongside Karachi in terms of deteriorating security situation. The authorities should provide proper support to the police and prevent political interference as these are the two evident reasons due to which the police is unable to curtail such incidences.
