KARACHI – The Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh has announced staging a public meeting in Nazimabad on May 15 to commemorate the memory of those who were killed in violence in Karachi on May 12, 2007. The ANP was one of those parties that had planned to receive Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chauhdry on his arrival in Karachi on that fateful day. At the meeting, the ANP Sindh would pass a people’s resolution demanding that the Supreme Court take notice of the bloodshed in the city that day.
