LAHORE – The UAE on Monday allowed test cricketer Muhammad Asif to enter the Gulf state, reported a private TV channel. Quoting sources the TV channel said the move would allow the controversial star to travel to the UAE after an around three year ban. Asif was first detained and later deported at the Dubai airport in June 2008 after opium had recovered from his possession, a charge repeatedly denied by Asif.
