QUETTA – Exiled Baloch leader Nawabzada Hyrbyair Marri, the son of elderly Baloch separatist leader Nawab Khair Bakhs Marri has said that Sardari system was the biggest hurdle in the way of progress and the struggle for independent Balochistan. In an statement issued here on Monday night, Hyrbyair Marri who is in self exile in London said that former dictator Pervez Musharraf was right that he had the support of most of Baloch sardars and said that these tribal chieftains had been extending their support to the governments that had been responsible for tyranny against Balochistan population.
Baloch separatist leader said that these Baloch sardars were also responsible for all cruelties and excesses stretching over 63 long years on the part of Islamabad. He said now Baloch people had a single point agenda of independence and were not to remain in the yoke of slavery. He said that all the forces deployed across Balochistan should be withdrawn and Baloch population should be recognized as independent nation who would decide their own future. He said that the identity of Baloch was currently on stake on their own soil while Islamabad continued to unleash cruelties and excesses against them, embarking a fresh agenda of perishing Baloch for ever.
