16 development schemes approved for Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD – Hafizabad District Development Committee has approved 16 new development schemes costing Rs 120.5 million to provide different amenities of life to the people. It was decided in a meeting held at the district complex under the chair of Muhammad Asif. The meeting also reviewed the pace of work on various ongoing schemes under the district development programme. The participants of the meeting were told that more than 200 development schemes were being completed at a cost of Rs 2 billion under different programmes.
The chairmen directed the officers concerned to execute construction work on newly approved schemes immediately and ensure completion of these schemes during the current financial year according to the orders of the Punjab government. PTI HOLDS MEETING: A meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) was held under the chair of District President Aman Ulah Sandhu Advocate.
PTI Youth Wing District President Azmatullah nominated Ch Imran Lodhra as Pindi Bhattian president, Rashid Latif as vice president, Musawarudin as general secretary, Abrar Hussain as finance secretary and Asad Farooq Bhatti as Sukheki president. Aman Ullah Sandhu said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had failed to deliver and added that PTI would give relieve to the masses after coming into power.
ASI SUSPENDED: The Hafizabad district police officer (DPO) has suspended Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Shan Elahi of Sadar Police Station on the charges of negligence. Meanwhile, the DPO ordered the registration of a case against Constable Muhammad Zahid for keeping a stolen motorcycle.
YOUTH INJURED: A youth was injured in a road accident in front of the Hafizabad Judicial Complex. Reportedly, Qamar Abbas, a resident of Pindi Bhattian, was crossing a road in front of the complex when a speedy van hit him, injuring him critically. The injured was rushed to a nearby hospital.
MOTORCYCLE STOLEN: A motorcycle was stolen from the parking of Hafizabad Patwar Khana. Reportedly, Muhammad Azhar, a patwari, parked his motorcycle outside his office. When he left the patwar khana, he found his bike missing.
