ISLAMABAD – On the call of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, the Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) will hold a demonstration today (Monday) in front of the Parliament House to protest against the non-implementation of 7th Wage Award, targeted killing of media persons, non-payment of salaries and illegal retrenchment of workers from newspapers and news channels.
The RIUJ has urged the journalists, media workers and civil society members to participate in the protest at 3pm.
