LAHORE – President of the Lahore City Cricket Association Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed said,”We will fill the city of Lahore with cricket grounds and one of the additions will be Ittifaq Cricket Ground, to be inaugurated by CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif soon in healthy and environmental friendly surrounding H-Block Model Town, Lahore”.
Chief Executive of Shapes (Pvt) Limited, Nadeem said Lahore is full of talented cricketers but there is no protected platform for them to keep their future bright. The majority of the test cricketers erupted from Lahore but they came into the limelight due to their own uphill struggle and dedication. We will encourage youth cricketers and upcoming talent by providing them more and more playing surface.
The concluding construction work is in full swing at Ittefaq Ground and soon a full-fledge cricket arena will see top class matches.
