It seems after the politicians our cricketers are found to be lacking self-esteem. National cricket team coach Waqar Younis has just told the nation that they dont need any money, it is the respect that they wish for. Will someone please tell him that respect is not begged with words, it is earned with performance and good work.
As far as the money issue is concerned, he is right. They dont need any money. Match fee, contract fee, endorsements, commercials, and special gifts like CMs cheques are more than enough for a comfortable life. If not so, bookies can help them out, too.
