Diversity thy name is human

Have you ever imagined a society full of robots? Will it then be called a ‘society’? What is so special about erring humans that lacks in robots which work with undoubted perfection? Among other things, robots lack the will to differ… the choice to be diverse… Diversity is the word for today.
In the heart of a country known (in good and bad ways both) to be ‘exceedingly’ multiethnic, Grass Root Organization for Human Development and Social Welfare united the assorted tastes of Pakistan at Children’s Library Complex under the title of Gypsy Mela. Gypsies with their folk dances, games and food stalls bejewelled the entire complex.
Gone are the days when different cultures and identities were ‘united’ under the umbrella of a common religion or the very ‘name’ of a nation created by the state. The celebration of cultures itself, or humanity for that matter, is a reason enough for poles to meet. The idea is to acknowledge identities, respect them and give them some breathing space despite all differences.
Let there be harmony in the co-existence of extremes, for if you reflect a little deeper, you will know that in such a scenario, like Gypsy Mela, contradictions tend to complement each other.
