LAHORE – The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Saturday registered a case against a school teacher for taking bribes from sanitary workers of TMA Gujjar Khan to provide age relaxation from the government.
According to details, Muhammad Irshad, school teacher at the Government Middle School Jhand Nagar, Gujjar Khan took Rs 30,000 from 13 work charge sanitary workers on the pretext of getting age relaxation orders from the government and providing them fake documents prepared in connivance with Nadeem Butt, a clerk of TMA Gujjar Khan.
The Rawalpindi anti-corruption director, on a complaint, conducted an inquiry which proved all allegations against Irshad. The Rawalpindi ACE circle officer registered a case against Irshad and started investigation.
