Man shot dead resisting robbery

MURIDKE – Dacoits killed a newly married person and seriously injured his cousin when they were going to the Lahore airport on Thursday morning on Muridke-Narowal Road.
Reportedly, Basharat Ali, 30, of Qila Kalarwala came back to Pakistan from abroad after seven years for marriage a month ago. On the day of the incident, he was going to the Lahore airport with his brother Ashiq Hussain and cousins, Atta Muhammad and Khalid Latif, when five dacoits ordered them to stop.
As they did not stop, the robbers opened fire, killed Bashart Ali on the spot and seriously injuring Khalid Latif.
