KARACHI – The house listing process in Lyari was inaugurated on Thursday, with Sindh Katchi Abadis and Spatial Development Minister Rafique Engineer Advocate marking a house in Noor Illahi Mohalla, Union Council 10.
Engineer urged the people of the area to step forward and participate in the listing process, so that a census process could be started in proper by August this year. He advised citizens to join hands at the Mohalla level and constitute teams to ensure that no house is unregistered.
The minister also directed the officials concerned to visit every house, and register house numbers in transparent manner. He said that any negligence would not be tolerated.
