LAHORE – In appreciation of getting the database of 1.409 million Afghan refugees, NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) Deputy Chairman Tariq Malik was awarded the prestigious ID ‘People Award’ by ID technologists at an international two-day gala held in Abu Dhabi on April 4.
Tariq Malik, selected in the category of global migration, proved his efficiency by registering 1.409 million Afghan refugees for Secure Card while 769,542 Afghan Children (under18) have been issued Birth Certificates in a record shortest span of time by using multi-biometric technology and delivered successful results to the UNHCR-sponsored project.
