LAHORE – Lahore Gymkhana qualified for the quarter-finals of the 1st Mian Mumtaz Memorial Cricket League beating Zareef Memorial by eight wickets here on Wednesday.
Ahmed Khan and Husnain Alam slammed centuries in Lahore Gymkhana’s win and overhauled the target of 239 set by Zareef Memorial with eight wickets to spare.
Yousuf 45, Shahrukh 42 and Shauket 36 were the main scorers of the losing side. Abdullah Tauseef took two wickets for 31 and Sameer tow for 63.
In reply, Lahore Gymkhana’s Ahmed Khan hit 106 while Hasnain Alam got 102 to achieve the score. Hafiz Naveed took two wickets. The match was supervised by Shakeel Ahmed and Rafqat Zaheer.
