PESHAWAR – Two militants including a commander were killed and two others injured as in an ambush at Bagan, border area of Kurram Agency near Hangu on Tuesday morning. The reports reaching here said that the militant commander, Noor Mohammad, along with his two accomplices riding a vehicle, when unidentified armed men attacked them.
The assailants also hurled a grenade on the militants’ vehicle. Noor Mohammad and Fazal Mehmood died on the spot while two others were injured in the attack. The injured persons were admitted to a local hospital. The locals said that Noor Khan and his associates used to attack passengers’ convoys in the area.
In March, these militants attacked 3 convoys of passengers in Bagan area and killed more than 30 people of Shia community.
