LAHORE – Christian Progressive Movement (CPM) Chairwoman Naila J Diyal condemned the Punjab government for not allowing her organisation to hold a procession at Nasir Bagh on April 10 to highlight their community’s issues.
Diyal said her organisation had submitted a request in this regard to the Lahore district coordination officer, Lahore police chief and Pakistan Housing Authority director general on March 28 but was denied permission to hold the event on Tuesday.
She said that the CMP was forced to take appropriate action against the Punjab government’s discriminating attitude.
