PESHAWAR – The city police have arrested 55 criminals and seven proclaimed offenders and recovered caches of weapons from their possession on Wednesday, police said.
According to details, the police on special directives of CCPO Laiqat Ali Khan, started grand operation in various areas of the city and booked seven proclaimed offenders and 55 outlaws.
The police also recovered six kalashnikovs, six pistols, one gun, hundred of cartridges besides 32 kilogram opium and 9 bottles of liquors from their possession.
Police have registered the case and investigation is on underway in this regard.
