DERA GHAZI KHAN – A Station House Officer (SHO) was killed while two other people including another policeman were injured in a firing incident in the city in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to police, some unidentified miscreants opened fire at a car near Taunsa Bypass area of Saddar Police Station here some hours before the dawn, killing SHO Kala Police Station, Safdar and critically injuring Sub-Inspector Nasrullah and their servant Mushtaq.
After the incident, the culprits managed to escape from the scene.
The body and the injured were shifted to District Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan.
Police registered case and started investigation.
