ISLAMABAD – The employees of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) Saturday ended their strike after the authorities assured them of fulfilling their demands. The FDE employees had gone on strike on Friday to press the authorities concerned to withdraw termination orders of some high officials of the Directorate. They had also objected to the perks enjoyed by the Chairperson FDE, Dr Shaheen Khan. On Saturday, the authorities assured the FDE employees that their demands would be accepted.
