KARACHI – Sindh Culture Minister Sassui Palijo will inaugurate the three day ‘Pictorial and Book Exhibition’ today (Sunday) at the Sindh Museum Hyderabad, in memory of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founding chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, on the eve of his 32nd death anniversary on April 4. The exhibition will last till April 5.
Culture Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Director General Muhammad Ramzan Awan, Director Manzoor Kanasro and others will also attend the exhibition. On the occasion, Palijo paid rich tributes to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and said that he was a brave leader of the third world countries and he united Muslims of on one platform. “He never compromised on his principles though he gave his life for the downtrodden people of the country,” she said, adding, “Today, it is the need of the hour to follow his footsteps for the prosperity, progress and development of the nation.” She also recalled his struggle and services for uplifting the living standards of the poor masses. Palijo also eulogised the services of Benazir Bhutto, who followed the path of her father and also gave her life for the people.
