DERA GHAZI KHAN – At least three persons were killed and 40 others were injured in a bus crash in Rajanpur area here on Sunday, police said.
According to details, a passenger bus loaded with the devotees, going from Faisalabad to Khawaj Ghulam Farid’s shrine in Kot Mithan, over turned on Indus Highway near Basti Lashari in Rajanpur area.
As a result, three persons died on the spot while more than 40 were injured.
The incident occurred because of over speeding.
After the incident, rescue workers and police reached on the spot and shifted the injured and bodies to District Headquarter Hospital Rajanpur.
Police registered case and started investigation.
