The security forces carried out shelling in Ali Sherzai, Chanarak and Spirkat of Central Kurram Agency resulting in three hideouts of the militants being destroyed and eight being militants killed.
The security forces should step up the operation in the tribal belt as the militants are once again carrying out successful attacks all over the country.
The militants are destabilising the political, economic and social situation of the country, and we have been on the back foot for quite some time.
It is time we clean up the mess and see a prosperous country before the militants succeed. The militants have been constantly challenging the governments writ. The government should come up with a zero tolerance policy with the militants.
