KARACHI – At least 10 people, including an MQM activist, were killed in different violent incidents in the city on Friday. An activist of the MQM was gunned down by unidentified armed men in the Garden area.
Shahjahan, 24, son of Qasim, was shot in the wee hours of Friday and rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK), where he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was a worker of MQM Unit 30 of Garden Sector. The body of the victim was handed over to his family after medico-legal formalities.
Tension and panic prevailed in the area after his killing as the whole area echoed with intense aerial firing, forcing shopkeepers to pull down their shutters. A man identified as Qamar, 35, son of Shams, was shot dead by unidentified armed persons in Sector 11
