LAHORE – The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Saturday condemned the Punjab government’s attitude towards protesting doctors and demanded the provincial government to accept the demands of the doctors. APML Secretary General Barrister Saif and APML Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry met a delegation of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) and termed their demands as genuine. Fawad said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has proved to be a failed administrator due to his poor management and outdated policies during the last three years.
He said that if the provincial government did not mend its attitude and policies to address the concerns of government employees, it could demolish the whole structure of the country. The APML leaders also urged the YDA to review its strategy regarding observing strikes at hospitals, as poor patients were suffering due to unavailability of doctors at hospitals.
