KARACHI – The annual meeting of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society General Council on Thursday elected the executive committee for the year 2011-2012. The council re-elected Hameed Haroon as president while Sarmad Ali was elected as secretary general of the body. The AGM also unanimously approved the report of the Executive Committee for the preceding year as well as the annual accounts of the society.
