TEVTA still giving contracts to retired officers

LAHORE – TEVTA (Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority) is hosting two retired colonels in important posts against Supreme Court of Pakistan orders against the reappointment of retired civil servants or armed forces personnel on contract basis.
Two retired Colonels from Armed forces are occupying the important posts of General Manager (Academics) and Manager (Operations). G.M (Academics) has also served in TEVTA prior to presently held post, as Manager (Curriculum) from where he resigned/left TEVTA nearly six years back and after three years, again joined TEVTA on current higher post.
Furthermore, P.A to Chairman, Manager (Legal) and Manager (HR) are also working in TEVTA Head office, after being re-appointed on contract basis in same office from where they got retired. Even the Advisor (Projects) is a retired Govt. servant and the age of above mentioned officers has exceeded the limit of 60 years. Staff report
