LAHORE – Pakistan’s leading sports footwear brand Servis Cheetah sponsored a screening of the Cricket World Cup semi-final between arch-rivals Pakistan and India at Lahore Gymkhana on Wednesday.
The venue was jam-packed with over 1,000 cricket fans and the management of Servis Sales Corporation. The audience was wearing green and cheering the team while watching the match on LCD screen. Pictures, cut-outs, and banners of Shahid Afridi, the brand ambassador of Servis Cheetah were all over the venue.
After the match, Service Sales Corporation Marketing General Manager Naim-ul-Abd said, “It was a great match. Shahid Afridi is a national hero in the way he has led this team so far into the tournament and has opened doors for resumption of political talks between Pakistan and India.” Communications Senior Manager Mazhar Salam said, “Afridi is our cheetah.
