LAHORE -PAF recorded the biggest upset of the 46th National Men’s Volleyball Championship 2011 by defeating defending champions WAPDA. PAF and Army reached the final here on Wednesday.
Underdogs PAF defeated WAPDA 18-25, 25-21, 25-19, 13-25 and 15-13 in the
semi- finals. PAF spikers put forth their best to show down WAPDA.
In the second semi-final, Army thrashed Navy 25-13, 23-25, 25-18, 19-25 and 15-11 to reach the final against PAF.
The final match between PAF and Army and the awards distribution ceremony will be held on Thursday (today) at 1600 hrs at the WAPDA Sports Complex, Lahore.
