Five gunned down in Karachi violence

KARACHI – At least five persons were killed in different firing incidents in the city during the last 24 hours, police said.
According to details, a 50-year-old Maulana Qamar Ashrafi was gunned down by unidentified people in Orangi Town. He was killed while he was going back home after offering prayers.
Former councilor Riaz Ahmed Alwi, 30, was shot dead in Gulbahar area.
Agha Siraj Durrani’s chief security officer fell prey to gunmen in Azizabad.
Mauj Ali was killed in Sharafi Goth and a bullet riddled body was found in Baldia Town.
Police registered case of the incidents and started investigation.
