ISLAMABAD – The Implementation Commission on the 18th Constitutional Amendment on Thursday met to discuss the matters of the devolution of three more ministries to the provinces, including ministries of Women Development, Environment and Sports in the third phase of the devolution plan.
Mian Raza Rabbani chaired the meeting which decided that other important ministries of Interior, Finance, Revenue, Port and Shipping and Communication would be devolved in the fourth and last phase to the provinces. The meeting also discussed the transfer of the infrastructure, funds and employees of the ministries to the provinces during the meeting. The commission would meet again on April 7 to start practical discussions on the devolution.
